This vine is one of Austria´s most popular. It makes wines with real character and strong acidity. It also has very good color. It is susceptible to late frost, and only thrives in relatively warm climate.
Beautifully made, pleasant wines, fresh and young in terms of flavour and with minimal oxidiation, they are not too bitter as the tannin does not predominate.
